The Beneficial Foundation used the Cottingley Fairies as their inspiration to create 5 new photographs. They transformed their classroom into a woodland setting, dressed in period dress and photographed themselves with fairies. As well as The Cottingley Fairies, they took inspiration from other fairies in literature such as A Midsummer Night's Dream and Peter Pan.
